How pay-per-lead local sites work
I build and own local websites for property compliance services and pass qualified enquiries to one provider per area. This page explains how, and what to expect.
The model in five steps
- Pick a service and an area. I look for places where people are searching for a compliance service and a provider could serve them.
- Build and own a local site. It explains the service, answers the questions people have and has a short quote form.
- Get it found. Content, structure and, over time, links and reviews. This takes months, not days.
- Qualify the enquiries. Each one is checked against the agreed definition of a qualified lead.
- Pass them to you. One provider per service and area. You pay an agreed price per qualified lead.
What counts as a qualified lead
A qualified lead has real contact details, asks for a service you offer, and is for a property in the area you cover. We agree the definition in writing before starting, and you can add conditions. More in what is a qualified lead.
What you get
- Enquiries from a site I own and maintain
- A clear definition of what you pay for
- A simple record of every lead passed to you
- No retainer, no set-up fee and no ad spend
What I need from you
- The service you provide and the area you cover
- A way to receive enquiries quickly, ideally a phone and an email you check often
- Honest feedback on lead quality and outcomes
What I don't promise
I can't guarantee volume, rankings or conversion. New sites take time to rank, small towns have limited searches and each enquirer chooses who to hire. I'll tell you where a site stands before you commit, and you only pay for qualified leads that arrive.
Who it suits
Established providers with capacity for more work, who want enquiries without running campaigns. If you want results this week, Google Ads may suit you better, see pay per lead vs Google Ads. Many firms use both.
Choose your service

Questions
Do I need to pay anything up front?
No. There are no set-up fees, retainers or ad spend. You pay an agreed price for each qualified lead.
Who owns the websites?
I do. I build, own and maintain them.
Will my competitors get the same leads?
I work with one provider per service and area, so enquiries from a site go to one company.
How long before I see leads?
It depends on the site and the area. New sites take time to rank, and I'll be straight about where a site stands before you commit.
What if I already have a website?
Keep it. My sites sit alongside yours and send you extra enquiries.
Got a service and an area in mind?
Tell me what you do and where you cover. I'll tell you plainly whether a site could work for you.
